Little heads in the oven. I'm gonna string 'em like pearls when I'm done.
Individual personality runs deep in each little head and fetish. These are the creatures as they appear upon pulling themselves from the clay, as if channeled into existence. As the artist, I hesitate to lay claim to their creation as there is no intentional forethought on my part as to their appearance. They come out of the clay full of character to introduce themselves to me. Each one has a voice of its own and a story to tell to those who are open enough to hear it.
